You will need to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the elements that define each of the two stylistic movements (genres) that each piece represents in order to create an effective re-interpretation.

A written report that provides a descriptive outline of the project must be submitted with the practical work. The report must provide a descriptive overview and an analytical critique of the processes and outcomes of the project.

ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSION

Each student is required to submit an individually written report in the form of a diarised logbook. The logbook should contain detailed accounts of the events that took place during the BAP160.2 Practical Assignment. It should commence from the planning stage right up to the finished project. The diary should give an account of the day’s accomplishments, whether or not events occurred according to plan, plus an indication of what could have been improved.

ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSION

Deliver a 10-minute presentation to peers and outlining the proposed project to be completed for creative project 1. A question and answer period may follow the presentation at the discretion of the examiner(s). Students should demonstrate thorough, detailed knowledge of the subject, reflecting appropriate levels of study and the ability to plan and conceptualise the practical and theoretical tasks to be undertaken for the project. The presentation must be well organised, make effective use of audio/visual resources, and demonstrate the student’s ability to effectively communicate the project objectives and focus to the audience.
